IMPORTANT — Please read this Customer Agreement and Booking Disclaimer (“Agreement”) carefully before submitting your service request through the Tradezy platform. By checking the box and proceeding with your booking, you (“Customer,” “you,” or “your”) agree to be legally bound by the terms and conditions set forth herein.
Tradezy Inc. (“Tradezy,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) is an online platform that facilitates the connection between individuals or entities seeking trades and home services (“Customers”) and independent third-party service providers (“Service Providers”). Tradezy is not a service provider and does not perform, supervise, or guarantee any trades or home services.
All Service Providers engaged through the Tradezy platform are independent contractors, not employees, agents, partners, or affiliates of Tradezy. Tradezy does not direct or control the manner, method, or timing in which the services are provided. The Customer understands and agrees that Tradezy acts solely as a facilitator and shall not be held liable for the actions, omissions, conduct, representations, or workmanship of any Service Provider.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Tradezy expressly disclaims all liability for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, punitive, or exemplary damages or losses arising out of or related to:
or suitability of any services rendered through the platform. Tradezy’s total liability, under any legal theory, shall be limited to the amount of service fees (if any) paid by the Customer to Tradezy in connection with the specific service request giving rise to the claim.
Prices or service estimates displayed on the Tradezy platform are for general reference only and are subject to change based on real-time market conditions, job complexity, and Service Provider discretion. Final rates, scope of work, payment terms, and service timelines are determined solely between you and the Service Provider.
Tradezy may facilitate payment processing through third-party services (e.g., Stripe, Square), but is not responsible for any financial disputes, chargebacks, or errors. Tradezy does not collect or store customer payment data directly.
Each Service Provider is individually responsible for maintaining appropriate licenses, certifications, and insurance coverage required by applicable provincial, municipal, or trade-specific regulations. Tradezy does not represent or warrant the existence or adequacy of such coverage unless explicitly stated.
By using the platform, you acknowledge that all services are performed at your sole risk. You agree to take reasonable steps to safeguard your property and personal safety before, during, and after any service appointment.
Any complaints, disputes, or issues relating to service delivery must be addressed directly with the assigned Service Provider. Tradezy may, at its sole discretion, assist in dispute resolution as a neutral party, but does not assume any responsibility or liability for the outcome. Tradezy does not provide refunds or compensation on behalf of Service Providers.
Service availability is not guaranteed. Bookings may be delayed or declined based on Service Provider availability, location, or workload. Late cancellations or no-shows by the Customer may be subject to cancellation fees as outlined in our Terms of Service.
By submitting a booking, you consent to the collection and use of your personal information for the purpose of processing your service request and facilitating communications with your assigned Service Provider. All personal information is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
You further consent to receive transactional and service-related communications via phone, email, or SMS, including appointment confirmations, updates, and feedback requests.
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Tradezy, its officers, directors, shareholders, employees, affiliates, and licensors from any and all claims, demands, damages, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including legal fees) arising from or related to:
This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Province of Alberta and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein. Any legal action or proceeding arising under this Agreement shall be brought exclusively in the courts located in Calgary, Alberta.
